Brooks Point Regional Park, South Pender Island

Perhaps the best reason to visit Brooks Point Regional Park on South Pender Island is for the spectacular views. The sweeping panorama offers views of the southern Gulf Islands, Washington State’s San Juan Islands and impressive Mount Baker looming in the background. Orcas, seals and river otters are often seen offshore while boat watchers can enjoy an endless stream of freighters, cruise ships and smaller private boats working their way through Boundary Pass.
